Local Company Honored as DOE Small Business of the Year

After working in partnership with the Idaho National Lab for the last three years--one local company has won national acclaim for the work they've done.

CRI Advantage Incorporated, an information technology consulting firm has been chosen as the U.S. Department of Energy's 2008 small business of the year. The company, which has offices in Boise and Idaho Falls, runs the help desk and call center for the INL.

Monday night CRI employees and their families gathered at the Tautphaus Park Zoo in Idaho Falls to celebrate winning the award.
Ken Malach/CRI Chief Operating Officer:"Small Business of the Year for 2008; for us that's a big deal and truly, without INL nominating us, it wouldn't have happened, so it's hat's off to them for being such a good business partner."
Gabe Halleus/CRI Director of H.R.: "Having great employees, I mean you've got to always think of the employees that are doing the day- to-day operations and support, and obviously the customer; INL has been great."
Representatives for the company will receive their award at the 10th annual DOE Small Business Conference in Long Beach, California, on August 12th.
