Client: MWI Veterinary Supply

Project: Website Refurbishment

MWI Veterinary Supply sells veterinary supplies through the US.   Five years ago, CRI designed, developed, and implemented a new e-Commerce website for MWI.   As part of that project, CRI translated the ongoing sales promotions into automated business logic so that all promotions could be updated daily by non-technical MWI staff.

In 2006, CRI managed a complete re-design of the MWI e-commerce website with the goals of customer personalization, improved search capabilities, improved site performance, multiple customer logins, efficient distribution of information and content management, improved account management, future site scalability and improved site security.

This project was completed utilizing the following echnologies: Microsoft .NET 2.0, Microsoft IIS 6, Microsoft SQL Server 2005, and DotNetNuke 4.0

Client:  Idaho Air National Guard

Project:  Application Development - IEMS

CRI Advantage (CRI) was contracted by the Idaho Air National Guard (IANG) to convert IANG’s extensive Inventory and Equipment Management System (IEMS) from Microsoft Access to a SQL Server Database with web-based interface.   The project also required the development of an integrated reporting application capable of meeting all the requirements of the military audit process. IANG’s existing MS Access system was utilized for all military purchasing, receiving, general ledger accounting, facility management, and work order scheduling. IANG sought a new platform which would be less expensive to manage then their previous configuration based on MS Access.
CRI utilized the calendaring functionality of Microsoft Outlook within Office Professional 2003 to assist the IANG maintenance personnel with scheduling of all maintenance, facility maintenance, and work order tasks associated with the base.
Military auditing teams reviewed the functionality of all deliverables. The Idaho Air National Guard site in Boise, ID was the first to test, approve, and fully utilize the new IEMS system and web-based application.
CRI assisted the IANG in repackaging the application to install at 125 additional Air National Guard sites across the USA, including stations in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Idaho Air National Guard must fulfill extensive reporting requirements to BOTH federal and state agencies.
CRI utilized or worked with the following products on this project: SQL Server 2000, ASP.Net, Visual Basic, Active Server, Visual Studio.Net, SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services .

CRI consultants led a team of infrastructure engineers responsible for all software patches, bug fixes, log review, application configuration, network configurations, security, and troubleshooting to maintain server capacity and uptime.

CRI was instrumental in helping Albertsons scale effectively in advance of new service deployment.  CRI consultants provided engineering support to Albertsons as needed to design, develop, and implement new Linux server builds.  CRI consultants were responsible for solving configuration dilemma's caused by conflicting vendor standards and procedures often found in heterogenous environments.  Ultimately, CRI developed proven configurations and methodologies which were tailored to Albertsons specific business requirements.

Albertsons was in a period of high growth between 2004 and 2006 before being purchased by SuperValu.  The number of serverd deployed doubled in size during this critical period.
